– will generate yearly C02 emissions equal to the city of New York, destroying any possibility of keeping global warming under 2 degrees
– will vastly increase the amount of coal ships travelling through the Great Barrier Reef – with heightened likelihood of environmental disaster
– robs farmers of their precious groundwater
