This campaign helps people access world leading battery technology from brands including Tesla Energy LG Chem, and solar panels from Tindo Solar, Australia’s only Australian made and owned solar company.

This strong grassroots campaign has taken place over last seven years to demand a solar thermal plant in Port Augusta. CLEAN members were at the forefront of this campaign.

Yarra Community Solar will result in the local production of zero emissions renewable energy. It will also give people in Yarra who can’t install solar panels on their own rooves (renters, those who live in apartment blocks, those with an unsuitable roof etc.) the opportunity to benefit from the switch to solar power.
