Stop Adani Ipswich are a local group working on the ground in the beautiful city of Ipswich to stop the Adani Carmichael coal mine, work towards a safe climate future for our children and to build a renewable sustainable clean energy future. If the Adani mine goes ahead, billions of litres of water will be lost to this dirty, polluting, mega coal mine. This means less water for drinking and wetlands. Less water for our farmers, damaging their capacity to grow food in an already drought-ravaged state. Once these fragile water resources are gone, they cannot be restored. The costs will be borne by our children and grandchildren. #StopAdani is apolitical focused on climate science, environmental science and news on environmental activism. Everyone is welcome to post information and we look forward and encourage your valued contribution. Thank you.
