Sutherland Climate Action Network (Sutherland CAN, or SCAN) is a group of Sutherland Shire residents deeply concerned about the threat climate change poses to our world, and to the future faced by our children and grandchildren. We formed in 2007 to help raise awareness and promote action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our area and to support strong action across New South Wales, Australia and the world. SCAN is affiliated with Sutherland Shire Environment Centre and the Climate Emergency Network.

Switch to green electricity – compare prices and benefits at Green Electricity Watch.
Did you know? You can get 10% GreenPower at no extra cost from four different suppliers.
100% GreenPower is available from just $4.40 extra per week.
Leave the car at home – take public transport, walk or ride a bike instead
Lobby governments to reduce use of fossil fuels and invest in renewable energy.
