About

Join us to demand action to address the climate emergency and the bushfire crisis by supporting a national day of action on 22 February 2020.

It’s outrageous that the Victorian government has made the decision to scrap the moratorium that was protecting Victorian farmland from risky onshore gas drilling. This is just after the most devastating and widespread bushfires in Australia’s history and towns in western NSW running out of water – this shows us that climate change isn’t in the future – it’s here now. There’s no excuse for expanding the production of fossil fuel in a time of climate emergency.

Hi everyone, due to responsible coronavirus exposure management and the fact that our venue booking was cancelled at the last minute we have decided to cancel tonight’s Climate Justice Alliance meeting. We will delay the next meeting until we feel secure in organising a public gathering.. We hope we haven’t caused too much inconvenience and hope the community understands our decision. In the mean time, we should all be using social media to continue to highlight the plight of the planet! Keep in touch with the page as we won’t stop organising in the face of this crisis.
