Climate Change Australia Hastings (CCA-H) is a non party-political community group seeking outcomes that support a safe climate and more clean energy for our region, for NSW, and for Australia – now and for our children and grand-children.
We want serious action immediately to tackle climate change and increase renewable energy and we will support any party or independent with effective policies. We call on our political leaders at federal, state and local levels to act now for a safe climate and more clean energy. Our aims extend to encouraging greater sustainability in our community, including – energy efficiency, transport, agriculture, landcare, waste management, litter, re-cycling and re-using.
CCA-H is the only safe climate and energy security group in the Hastings Valley area. We started in 2007 and our members come from Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Laurieton, and Kendall. We hold a number of events each year to which all are welcome.
