The Save Solar Campaign in Brief: WA Senate Election
In early 2014 the Solar Council mobilised as the Abbott Govt began a concerted effort to sash the Renewable Energy Target. The Save Solar Campaign was pivotal in the WA Senate Election in March 2014, moving votes of Australians across the political spectrum. The Newman Governments led the most devastating attack on solar we have seen. In response, the Australian Solar Council waged an extensive campaign throughout the Queensland election encouraging votes to “Vote to save money, vote to save solar” They voted…and they won!

Solar Council National Forums
