About

This campaign is uniting a powerful movement — farmers, Traditional Owners, doctors, environmental groups, religious leaders and many others — to stop the construction of the huge Maules Creek Coal Mine in the endangered Leard State Forest. As the bulldozers have moved in, we’ve been ready to meet them with peaceful community protest. Day upon day we turn back vehicles seeking to clear the forest – day upon day we send a powerful message that it is time to move beyond coal. This campaign is a ‘line in the sand’ moment and we need your help! Here’s how you can get involved.

1 . If you can, head to the blockade, and join this fight from the front line
2. Can’t make the journey to the blockade? Find out how you can help from home.
3. Need more information? Read about why this mine must be stopped.
