I’m a food lover

This campaign aims to get supporters to sign a pledge to eat their leftovers to avoid food waste.
Avoid 60% of the food we waste by managing it better.

I’m a food lover. I pledge to eat my leftovers. WE’RE FIGHTING FOOD WASTE, AND WE NEED YOU. Australians throw out eight billion dollars worth of edible food each year, that’s one in five shopping bags. And, a massive 60% of the food we waste can be avoided simply by managing it better. When we waste food, we waste not just the food itself, but the time and resources that went into producing, delivering, selling and preparing that food. WILL YOU SIGN OUR PLEDGE AND SHARE IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS.

None of us needs to be wasting food and there is much we can do to stop unnecessary waste, like planning your meals, shopping to a list, buying only what you need, and eating your leftovers! By pledging to eat your leftovers you’re already on your way to avoiding food waste. A million thanks to our amazing partners. Love Food Hate Waste.
