Augusta Margaret River Clean Community Energy

Augusta Margaret River Clean Community Energy is a not-for-profit community action group focussed on renewable energy and reducing emissions, based in the Augusta/Margaret River region of WA.

About

Help us reduce emissions in Augusta Margaret River. A not-for-profit community action group. Our community’s desire to reduce carbon emissions led to a 2010 Shire commitment to reduce carbon emissions from energy consumption. To achieve this, it was calculated we needed to establish a grid connected 10MW clean energy facility. MRCCE is managed by a Management Committee consisting of Chair; Deputy Chair; Secretary, Treasurer and Management Committee Members. From time to time sub-committees co-opt additional persons to assist its activities as required. Current Management Committee Members were elected at our last AGM and are listed below.

The organisation itself is entirely staffed by volunteers. As is usual in organisations such as ours, besides our regular volunteers many people have volunteered to make our activities possible throughout the year. We thank each and everyone of your valued contribution. Augusta Margaret River Clean Community Energy is fully run by volunteers. We are currently in need of volunteer support in:
Technical expertise
Administration
Legal expertise
Financial expertise
Assistance with community events
Assistance with developing projects

If you are able to help in any of these areas, or have other skills you would like to offer, please sign up to volunteer here.
