About

The UTAS South Enviro Collective is focused on environment issues and sustainability on and off campus. Together we were collectively to bring to light issues that are impacting university students and future generations. We encourage each group members individual passion whether it be sustainable transport, direct action, climate change issues or divestment from fossil fuels campaigns. We engage with national groups and local organisations such as Source Community Wholefoods, The Bob Brown Foundation, Still Wild Still Threatened, Save the Tarkine, The Wilderness Society, Hobart Bike Kitchen, Australian Youth Climate Coalition and 350.org and many others. We also are a part of the Australian Student Environment Network who nationally focus on environmental issues facing Universities and the broader community.

MEETINGS : Monday nights either at Sandy Bay TUU Building or at Source Community Whole Foods. Come and say hi! Whether you are passionate about protecting a species, finding a more sustainable way to get to uni , our ancient forests or just simply want to get involved in a group who is appreciative of life and mother nature, come join in, the more the merrier!
