About

Transition Town Stirling is about bringing people together to share and learn, we are about practically living with the earth at heart. See the get involved page for more information on how to get involved. Transition Town Stirling is a small community group based in the City of Stirling in Perth, WA. We run and support a number of events throughout the year that explore local food production, sustainability, waste, recycling and community building.

We are always looking for new ideas, and for new people to get involved and run workshops and events, so if you would like to get involved, please get in contact. Transition Towns is a community-led process helping locals to find ways to live in a more sustainable way. The TT process began in the UK and is now a worldwide movement. We are a not-for-profit organisation.

What is transition network?
Transition Initiatives are a worldwide movement of ordinary people finding ways of living more sustainably, building community resilience and creating a positive response to the challenges of climate change, peak oil and economic uncertainty. Each Transition Town (or city, or village, or island, etc.) is independent, developing its own plans and working on its own priorities.
