About

Transition Parramatta: local people acting together to create a culture of sustainability and local resilience in the face of peak oil and climate change. By working to re-localise our resources, growing food locally, upskilling through skill share networks, and strengthening our local economy we are building capacity in our selves and our community. The strength of our community is key to transitioning to a local and global awareness including embracing our role to live responsibly in balance with this planet. We honour and share our ideas, inspirations and practical knowledge as we develop stronger links and relationships together in our collective existence.

WHEN: We have monthly gatherings on the third Wednesday of each month 7-9pm.
WHERE: at Harris Park Community Centre, 11 Albion Street Harris Park, just down from the station.

Everyone is welcome to come along from 7pm to 9pm and enjoy practical workshops around food, waste, power, sustainability and many other important topics to assist our learning and development on this journey of transition. We would love to see you there; to learn , grow, develop and also to share a warm cup of tea and supper together. Feel free to bring your friends and family …. ALL ARE WELCOME! Say gidday on facebook where we hang out with all our friends.
