A 100% volunteer run community group with the lofty goal of powering this small Victorian town with 100% renewable energy, giving resilience, savings, lower emissions and showing that it can be done. TRY partners with the local community and relevant organisations to inspire projects that transition Yackandandah to clean, local sources of energy. TRY was started in 2014 and since then a lot of sunshine has hit a lot of solar panels. Find out a little bit more about us here.
After a huge 18 months, including pandemic disruptions and major projects, we’ve just updated our website. It’s the result of months of work around everything else in our volunteers’ lives. We hope you like the new look and the ability to more easily see what we’re doing. Keep watching this space!
