Sustainable Fawkner was established in close connection with the principles of the Transition Towns movement in early 2010, to provide a local response to the challenges of Climate Change and Peak Oil. The project is being developed in close collaboration with the Fawkner Community House. Meetings of Sustainable Fawkner haven’t been held for some time, but we used to meet at local food swaps prior to the pandemic in 2020.
