Lock the Tweed was established to further the Lock the Gate Alliance campaign against coal and coal seam gas in the Tweed Valley. It has a particular focus on coal seam gas (CSG) and is currently driving the Gasfield Free Communities initiative in the Tweed Valley.
Lock The Tweed is a member group of Lock The Gate Alliance, and is active in the campaign against the rapid and rabid expansion of coal and unconventional gas developments.
