About

We are a group of volunteers who love and work to preserve our local environment. Welcome to our Facebook page .Let’s begin with a little bit of information about what we do. We are a group of volunteers who love and respect our local environment. We work and play. We are involved in many activities from Rivercare to our popular seasonal feasts. We are concerned about climate change and other environmental issues. We are non political.

Our main activities are Rivercare, Koalaways (planting and preserving tree corridors for local koalas), Bushwalks ( from easy to challenging). We are currently involved in the rejuvenation of Minimbah Aboriginal Gardens. We support Aussie Ark, and our members volunteer their time to work Aussie Ark, and are adoptees of a Manning River turtle. Seasonal Feasts are held every quarter, these are popular social gatherings. If you would like to know more, please send us a message New members are very welcome !

WE ARE CURRENTLY ENCOURAGING MID COAST COUNCIL TO ADOPT AN EFFECTIVE TREE PRESERVATION ORDER to stop the unnecessary destruction of mature native trees.
