Welcome to the GetUp Sydney/Grayndler Action Group! This group is for all GetUp members and friends who live in the federal electorates of Sydney and Grayndler and want to work together locally to create a more fair, flourishing and just Australia. We meet on the first Wednesday evening of every month at the Quaker Hall, Surry Hills. For up to date information on future events, go to action.getup.org.au. Local action groups are a new and exciting step for the GetUp movement. Right now with pressure mounting, local action groups will focus on the #StopAdani campaign but over the coming months we will evaluate, experiment and learn from our experiences to develop local action groups ready to tackle any critical issue.
