We are a local group of Extinction Rebellion (XR), which is a decentralised, politically non-partisan movement that uses non-violent direct action and civil disobedience to persuade governments to act justly on the climate and ecological emergency.

XR Frankston acknowledges we rebel on the unceded lands of the Boon Wurrung Peoples’ of the Kulin nations and pay respect to elders, past and present. We acknowledge their sovereignty and ongoing resistance against the destructive forces of capitalism and colonialism which are fuelling the climate and ecological crisis.
