Emerald for Sustainability

Who We Are… EmFSus is a notforprofit, nonpolitically aligned, community action group.

This local sustainability group was formed in February 2008 in response to the community need to establish a grass roots organisation to tackle the problem of climate change and to empower the community to take action. The focus is for residents, businesses and community groups in the Emerald district to reduce their water and energy consumption, minimise waste and increase the biodiversity with an aim to live a low carbon or carbon neutral lifestyle.

The meetings convened demonstrate how this lifestyle can be achieved by sharing ideas, views, etc.
