About

Established in 2009, Climate Action Darwin is a 1,000-strong grassroots community group. We believe it is our obligation to current and future generations to create a safe climate for all. We do this by supporting Darwin residents to take action, advising on the transition to a zero carbon economy in the Territory, and influencing decision-makers.

What does Climate Action Darwin do?
– We influence decision-makers to adopt climate-friendly policies.
– We support Darwin residents to take climate action, and reduce their own climate impact.
– We advocate for a transition to a zero carbon economy.
– We inform and educate audiences on NT climate change impacts and solutions—including schools.
– We support other local and active groups working for a safe climate:
Environment Centre NT
CoolMob
Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network
Climate for Change
Protect Country Alliance
School Strike for Climate.
