Our Outback, Our Story CCWA

This campaign focused on protecting WA outback: "our Outback is at risk from wildlife extinctions, the loss of healthy soils, feral animals and government neglect. Right now, the WA Government is deciding on historic reforms which could turn this around to create a brighter future for both nature and people."
Stand up for WA's outback

About

It’s time we stand up for WA’s Outback. The rugged, beautiful landscapes and remarkable people of our Outback help make WA a special place. But our Outback is at risk from wildlife extinctions, the loss of healthy soils, feral animals and government neglect. Right now, the WA Government is deciding on historic reforms which could turn this around to create a brighter future for both nature and people. CCWA believes we have a responsibility to look after our Outback for future generations. Join with us in our new campaign to stand up for WA’s Outback.

Our Outback is an amazing place, but what makes it special is at risk. We believe it’s our responsibility to look after WA’s unique Outback so it’s there for future generations. “IT BREAKS MY HEART TO LEAVE, BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE.” My family and I have made the hardest of decisions – to leave our home, Nallan Station. We’ve given every last drop of energy, time and money to bring this extraordinary part of WA back to health, but now our time is up. Outback people need your support. Please sign Michael’s petition asking the WA Government to make the Outback a priority, so that other families aren’t forced to leave.

It’s time we stand up for WA’s Outback.
