Campus Sustainability

The Sustainable Campus working group aims to help support clean energy, recycling and other campus based campaigns all over the continent.
More renewable energy, research into innovative technologies, and research into new ways of organising our communities sustainably on university campuses

About

The Sustainable Campus working group aims to help support clean energy, recycling and other campus based campaigns all over the continent. Universities are caches of power – they physically use a lot of energy, and can be model of a sustainable built complex. More importantly, research into energy is carried out at campuses, at the moment often funded by coal or nuclear industry, we want more renewable energy, research into innovative technologies, and research into new ways of organising our communities sustainably.

Empowering students to demand that their universities switch to clean energy in their use and in their research. Students show have the right to have a part in decisions about what their university does, together we can get active and work towards a better future. The working group want to share resources, so that the many and diverse campaigns happening on campuses can share and learn form each other.
