About

During the 2016 federal election hundreds of Environment Victoria volunteers braved the rain, overcame their fears, gave up their time and headed out to talk to people in the local community about our environment and the policies of the major parties.

Governments come and go, but the power of committed volunteers united by a common goal is something that never changes. That’s why we’re growing a network of passionate Victorians who are putting our planet, healthy rivers, clean air, a stable climate, and a thriving natural world, on the political agenda. During the 2016 federal election hundreds of Environment Victoria volunteers braved the rain, overcame their fears, gave up their time and headed out to talk to people in the local community about our environment and the policies of the major parties.

Here’s a short video dedicated to their extraordinary efforts in the electorates of Deakin (around Ringwood and Mitcham) and Dunkley (around Frankston). Thank you for your support.
