Armidale Action on Coal Seam Gas and Mining calls for transparency regarding all forms of exploration, mining and rehabilitation, including operations being undertaken by private companies, government agencies and individuals who possess exploration and/or production leases for any commodity in the New England/Northwest regions.
Armidale Action on Coal Seam Gas and Mining is calling for a complete ban on all forms of coal seam gas exploration and mining in the Pilliga.
Armidale Action on Coal Seam Gas and Mining is calling on the State to fulfil its legislative responsibilities in relation to the protection of the Pilliga, and in lieu of such inaction, is calling on the Federal Government to intervene to protect what is one of the most ecologically significant areas in New South Wales.
