Don't restart oil transfer facility in Westernport Bay at Crib Point

About

Surfrider Foundation’s Victoria branch led the protests against proposals to re-start an oil transfer facility in Westernport Bay at Crib Point. The rally on the steps of the Parliament House in Melbourne, the first ever by surfers in Victoria, attracted over 200 people along with a paddle out held at Crib Point 3 days later. Campaign won! Plans for the oil transfer facility were shelved indefinitely as a result of Surfrider’s fight.
