This local sustainability group was formed in February 2008 in response to the community need to establish a grass roots organisation to tackle the problem of climate change and to empower the community to take action.
Our growing network is creating dignified & unionised livelihoods, community empowerment and practical action for a safe climate. For sustainable jobs, for community, and for the environment.
The Clean Food 100 Eat Local Challenge is to eat great locally produced food for one week. Can you do it? 19th to 25th January 2008. Choose from 1, 2 or 3 meals a day. The launch will be at Cowra Bowling Club, 16th January at 7pm.
We are an independent community group that works for Ecologically Sustainable Development and against threats to it.
The vision for Community Voice for Hume (CV4H) is to provide a voice for the constituents of Hume to create a socially sustainable future.
