This ASEN campaign focuses on fostering solidarity with the Indigenous people of Australia.

The Australian Marine Conservation Society has worked hard to see this overarching policy developed to guide the wise use and care of Australia’s marine environments. Now that the policy is in place, we continue to campaign for its effective implementation in all jurisdictions.

In June 2011, after a long campaign by AMCS and our conservation colleagues, the Ningaloo Coast was listed as World Heritage by the United Nations.

To support and strengthen existing campaigns for a nuclear-free Australia, the Poola Foundation (Tom Kantor Fund), Friends of the Earth Australia and the Australian Conservation Foundation have joined forces to establish the Beyond Nuclear Initiative. It was set up in early 2006.
