The UTAS South Enviro Collective is focused on environment issues and sustainability on and off campus. Together we were collectively to bring to light issues that are impacting university students and future generations. Based in TAS.
We encourage all residents of Taroona to participate, as we transition to be a more sustainable and connected suburb. Transition Streets is a grassroots initiative that focuses on connecting and supporting neighbourhoods around the issues of sustainability, giving real meaning to the phrase, “think globally; act locally”. Transition Tamar is part of a worldwide movement building adaptable communities in response to the climate & ecological emergencies facing us. Join with us & our project groups as we evolve a more connected and resilient Tamar Valley region for all of us. Transition Tamar is a Local Group of Permaculture Tasmania, and a member of the Transition Network. Based in TAS.
Transition Burnie is a part of the Transition Network. We are working toward developing a Sustainable and Resilient community. The purpose and aim of the Transition movement is to raise awareness of sustainable living and to make communities more resilient to increasing energy costs and economic impacts such as the global financial crisis. Based in TAS.
