This campaign targeted faith communities to go fossil free in their individual lives: "As members, beneficiaries and customers of institutional investors such as super funds, banks and insurance companies, each of us can play a powerful role in moving Australia's economy out of fossil fuels and into clean energy."
This campaign focussed on taking EnergyAustralia to court for making false and misleading climate claims, while continuing to pollute our kids' climate. It asked supporters to sign our open letter calling on all power companies to stop greenwashing.
This was a "parent-powered climate action campaign" ahead of the 2022 federal election, targeting federal candidates/politicians. Among other actions, supporters in the ACT were asked to email their local candidates to "support Australian Parents for Climate Action’s Solar Our Schools policy initiative - which, asks the federal and state governments to work together to provide solar and batteries on all schools and early childhood centres around Australia."
This is ACF's broader Climate Action campaign. Calling for ending coal and gas, harnessing clean renewable energy, protecting and restoring nature, and cleaner and smarter transport. Connected to this is ACF's court case against Woodside for their Scarborough Gas project.
Since 2010, the One Million Homes Alliance of Victoria’s leading environmental, consumer and social sector organisations has been calling on government to set a clear goal to upgrade our housing stock to an average 5 star and 100 litre/person/day performance standard within ten years.
