The response at the public meeting to the motion that ‘Phillip Island will be a carbon neutral community by 2030 through our collective efforts to use clean, efficient energy, reduce pollution and offset emissions was an overwhelming yes. The Tipping Point is a Friends of the Earth Australia group/project working towards a future where Australia is a world leader in responding to the climate crisis. The team is a tight knit, hard working group with a track record of delivering quality projects in short time-frames, including helping to spearhead the Australian fossil fuel divestment movement, supporting the growth of the #StopAdani campaign, organising mass climate mobilisations and pushing major banks to say no to fossil fuels.
