This campaign targets the NSW government to restore marine sactuary protections and stop line fishing from the shores. "After two years of campaigning and a massive groundswell of community concern, the NSW Baird Government restored protection in 20 of the 30 sanctuary zones. Unfortunately 10 zones remain unprotected – we continue to encourage the Government to restore these final sanctuaries."
This campaign asked supporters to sign a petition to tell the Queensland Government to enforce water quality laws to stop pollution from damaging the Great Barrier Reef.
Our goal is to create global sanctuaries that give our whales shelter, to reform fisheries to tackle bycatch, to protect whales from offshore development and pollution and give our whales a chance to recover from decades of whaling.
This was a "parent-powered climate action campaign" ahead of the 2022 federal election, targeting federal candidates/politicians. Among other actions, supporters in the ACT were asked to email their local candidates to "support Australian Parents for Climate Action’s Solar Our Schools policy initiative - which, asks the federal and state governments to work together to provide solar and batteries on all schools and early childhood centres around Australia."
This "Solar Our Schools" campaign aimed to get solar into schools around Australia. Parents and children were asked to create artworks in support of the campaign and send them to federal education minister Alan Tudge - leading up to the 2021 budget.
