The Senate is inquiring into the Australian Government’s response to coronavirus and we’re asking them to dig into the activities and gas industry links of the unelected National Covid-19 Coordination Commission (NCCC).
In this 2022 election-focused campaign CCBR sorted through NSW senate candidates and found the ones with the best cliamte policies - then distributed a "Vote Climate in the Senate" flyer in the local area.
This campaign asks all Australian Environment Ministers to cut air pollution and protect our climate and our health by supporting stronger air pollution standards.
As global temperatures continue to rise from increasing greenhouse gas emissions, the health impacts of climate change will only get worse -- meaning more lives will be lost and more people's health put at risk. Governments must take urgent action now to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
CAHA is calling for strong emissions reductions as an important public health measure and a national strategy on climate change and health as the prescription for political parties looking for a winning formula in the upcoming federal election (2013).
