Wingecarribee Zero Emissions was an idea that began under the haze of the bushfires, came together during the global pandemic and will continue on for decades. Our goal is to achieve net zero carbon emission for the Wingecarribee Shire by 2050, if not before. Based in NSW.

Wollongong Climate Action Network (WCAN) is a local community group which formed in Wollongong and the Illawarra in November 2006. Based in NSW.

The Wilderness Society of NSW sprang up in the early 1980s. The Newcastle group branched out to dedicate itself to local and national campaigns. The community stands shoulder-to-shoulder to protect the places we love, seen here at Nobbys beach, Newcastle.
