Geelong Renewables Not Gas (GRNG) was formed in response to Viva Energy’s proposal to build a gas terminal in Corio Bay. We are proudly independent, non-partisan and funded by donations from our community.

We are a dynamic and passionate community group focused on sharing information, building community resilience, advocating for the environment and supporting effective action.

We are in a Climate Emergency. Fridays for Future Greater Geelong protests every single Friday outside City hall, 10-12. Coffee/ lunch in the Court House Cafe after. We connect with #ThriveForFuture and #EarthEmbassy.
