Sunny Shire is a volunteer based community energy group in the Sutherland Shire (NSW). We want to help the Sutherland Shire community get the benefits of renewable energy and energy efficiency such as cost savings, self-reliance, resilience and lower impact on our environment.

Shire Climate Action Network (ShireCAN) is a group of Sutherland Shire residents who are deeply concerned about the threat climate change poses to our planet.

Worked with the Cronulla Chamber of Commerce to deliver a plastic survey to the community. 700+ surveys were completed. The initiative raised awareness about the threat that single-use plastic presents to the ocean

Partnered with 11 local primary schools, the Cronulla Sharks, NSW government, and the Sutherland Shire Council on a reusable bag initiative, which included an educational program on single-use plastic.
