In a world with an ever-expanding population, the question is how we can balance what we take from the seas and how we keep the ocean healthy, so we can ensure we have fish in the future.
Label My Fish is a new campaign, designed to see Australian laws changed to require more information on seafood labels, specifically: What species of fish is it? Where is it from? How was it caught or farmed?
This is ACF's broader Climate Action campaign. Calling for ending coal and gas, harnessing clean renewable energy, protecting and restoring nature, and cleaner and smarter transport. Connected to this is ACF's court case against Woodside for their Scarborough Gas project.
This campaign called on the Victorian Government to create the Great Forest National Park, which will connect and protect 355,000 hectares of tall mountain ash forests in the Central Highlands of Victoria.
This campaign called on the federal government to make a national plan to stop burning fossil fuels and harvest all our energy from the sun and wind.
