1 Million Women organised an eye-opening trip to the Sumatran Jungle, where the team experienced the shocking and devastating impacts of palm oil first-hand and got the chance to see the last remaining Sumatran Orangutans in their ever diminishing habitat.

The goal of the campaign Roadshow is to inspire at least 10,000 women from around the world to become 1 Million Women ambassadors, living with the least impact on the planet and influencing those around you to do the same.

The 'You're the Voice' campaign asks 1 Million Women supporters to join their call to world leaders that women's voices must be heard for strong action on climate change.

This campaign compells institutions like universities, councils and churches to divest from fossil fuels, and to weaken the fossil fuel industry’s social license to pollute the planet for free. This in turn helps free up political space for more ambitious emissions reduction legislation.
