Thousands of possums, quolls, koalas and gliders will be killed each year if Premier Mike Baird scraps our tree-clearing laws. In May 2016, Premier Baird released his blueprint for stripping away our strongest nature conservation laws. People have until 28 June 2016 to make a submission on the changes.
A Sydney Marine Park could take many forms, but fundamentally it is about protecting marine life and doing it in a way that allows all activities to be managed in a sustainable way.
Over 7,000 people have endorsed our open letter to the Premier calling on him to protect New South Wales people and places from rampant coal mining. Now we need to step up our effort to make him act.
