MidCoast Knitting Nannas Against Greed, join together to take our message to politicians and others to save the land, air and water for future generations from the greed of large corporations, especially those in the fossil fuel industry. We sit, we knit, we plot in peaceful protest.
The Downstream KNAG name was chosen because of the many people and Valley communities living downstream of the AGL Gloucester Project situated next to the Avon River, tributary to the mighty Manning River and all CSG projects in water catchment areas.
We peacefully & productively protest against the destruction of our land and water by exploration & mining of Coal Seam Gas & other non-renewable energy.
Knitting Nannas peacefully and productively protest against the destruction of our land, air, and water by corporations and/or individuals who seek profit and personal gain from the short-sighted and greedy plunder of our natural resources.
We hold Knit-Ins at Forestry Corporation’s NSW Batemans Bay HQ and hold actions to end native forest logging – Listen to Your Nannas (our loop is from the Victorian border to Bawley Point).
