Mullum SEED is a group that aims to build a respectful, supportive and resilient community that protects and enhances its natural environment in every aspect of its activities.
As the state’s leading environmental advocacy organisation, it is our mission to protect nature in NSW and create the conditions it needs to thrive. For more than 60 years, we have been at the centre of the state’s most important conservation battles and have notched up countless wins for wildlife, bushland, marine life, and local communities.
MDEG began meeting in 1989 to highlight global issues like climate change, deforestation and recycling under the theme ‘think globally, act locally’.
Mid Western Community Action Network (MWCAN) is a politically non-aligned group representing a broad cross-section of the Mid Western and Upper Hunter communities. It was established to promote effective, long-term planning and sustainable development of the region.
The Maules Creek Community Council (MCCC) was formed on the 25th of July 2010 at a community meeting to address the concerns of residents regarding the coal and gas developments in the local area.
