GetUp Macquarie Action Group has worked very hard to build and be an integral part of the local environmental movement, hand-in-hand with Macquarie Alliance and other organisations.

GetUp Meanjin Brisbane Action Group has been active in two federal elections carrying out phonebanks, doorknocks, market stalls and letter-writing. In between elections, the group meets regularly and is involved in a multitude of local community events and organisations.
