The Environment Centre NT, together with Borroloola residents Jack Green and Josie Davey (represented by the Environmental Defenders Office) served court proceedings challenging the NT Government’s decision to slash the environmental bond for Glencore’s controversial McArthur River Mine by almost $120 million. 
This campaing focused on the effects of coal mining in causing cracking of stream beds and under swamps, with water loss and pollution in several NSW drinking water catchments.
Our State Government is heavily promoting that "South Australia's Door Is Open" to oil and gas mining. This is the wrong direction. It's reversing when it comes to acting on global warming, is economically reckless for our state, and threatens our future.
This campaign calls on Western Australian Parliament to declare an immediate state-wide moratorium on unconventional gas and fracking.
This campaign opposed the Kintyre uranium mine.
