On September 25 2020, school students across Australia called on politicians to Fund Our Future not Gas. CCBR supporters helped to amplify the message.
Our #KeepYourPromise campaign gives a voice to young Australians concerned about climate change who can’t yet vote. The campaign demands that political and business leaders honour the promises that they made at the COP21 talks in Paris in December 2015.
The Climate Emergency PetitionSTORM allowed different groups who were planning different climate emergency petitions to combine their petitions when delivering to MPs (once they'd reached a collective 100,000). Petitions needed to agree on 3 key points on the climate emergency.
This 2019 federal election campaign asked supporters to contact their local candidates and either email or visit them to let them know that climate change is and will affect Australians health and that, conversely, climate action is a win for both people's health and in reducing the economic burden of ill-health associated with climate change.
The Climate and Health Alliance is promoting a new tool being rolled out internationally to help the health sector respond to its responsibility to reduce emissions and to minimise its environmental footprint to protect and promote health: Global Green and Health Hospitals Network.
