1 Million Women held a very special event at the Congress to explore their campaign about 'Youth expression of climate change'.

The Bank on our Future campaign is a people-powered movement that can stop the flow of money to oil and gas corporations that will trample land rights and wreck our climate.

This campaign compells institutions like universities, councils and churches to divest from fossil fuels, and to weaken the fossil fuel industry’s social license to pollute the planet for free. This in turn helps free up political space for more ambitious emissions reduction legislation.

This campaign promoted Plastic Free Kinsale, a group that raised awareness about plastic and gave workshops about going waste free by engaging local schools and businesses.
