EmFSus is working with local and state government to remove bottled water from our township

The year-long campaign to have the Sunshine Coast Council declare a climate emergency and take stronger and more urgent action, has achieved an important outcome. The Council unanimously passed a motion, put forward by Cr David law, at a general council meeting on 10 November 2021.

This successful campaign called for Moreland City Council to divest from fossil fuels. This was part of 350.org's broader council divestment campaign.
