A group to draw attention to how the Pilliga Forest is under threat from the largest coal seam gas project ever proposed for New South Wales

Protecting the Pilliga are working to stop Santos' CSG in the Pilliga (NSW); the largest temperate woodland in Eastern Australia and a recharge zone for the Great Artesian Basin.

A group of Narrabri Region (NSW) residents who want to create a positive future thru education and awareness of the issues around CSG & coal industries.

The Maules Creek Community Council (MCCC) was formed on the 25th of July 2010 at a community meeting to address the concerns of residents regarding the coal and gas developments in the local area.
