The Net Zero Network was founded in 2021 by a group of engineers and business professionals seeking ways to put their skills to best use in fight against climate change. Our first meeting was in a borrowed auditorium on a windy and cold July evening. Since then, we have grown an online community on LinkedIn of over 700 members, held over 15 in-person events in Perth on a broad range of different subjects and watched the careers of many members blossom as they have moved from other industries into the energy transition.
Throughout, the goal of the NZN has remained unchanged. The NZN exists to help our members find their role in meeting the challenges of climate change and harnessing the opportunities of the energy transition. As part of this mission, we can also connect businesses with climate and energy challenges to members with the skills to serve them.
