Walk For Solar
100 people. 328 km. 15 days.
1 solar thermal plant.
In September 2012, 100 people walked for fifteen days to show their support for investment in Australia’s first ever solar thermal plant. Our efforts put the national media and political spotlight on this issue. The Walk ended in a 2,000 person Rally for Solar through the streets of Adelaide. Taking the voices of locals and young people to the steps of Parliament house. This event was one of the largest demonstrations of support for renewable energy in Australia’s history.
