Our plan to stop fracking in the NT

With a powerful movement of young people across the country, we can put a stop to Tamboran’s plans to frack the NT.
Stop fracking the NT

About

Young people today are growing up faced with more climate disasters, extreme weather and an uncertain future. Yet even as we experience the escalating impacts of climate damage, fossil fuel companies are pushing to expand dangerous gas projects across the continent, putting their corporate profits ahead of a clean future for all of us.

In the Northern Territory, gas companies like Tamboran have huge fracking plans, despite decades of resistance from Traditional Owners, NT locals and young people around the country. With a powerful movement of young people across the country, we can put a stop to Tamboran’s plans to frack the NT. Here’s how we’ll do it:

1. Stop public funding propping up dirty gas projects
2. Make polluters pay for their emissions
3. Strengthen our environment laws

Join us to take action so you can join the fight for climate justice, and keep gas in the ground – right now. Find out when our next action meeting is on, or download resources to take action with your friends in your local community.
